Dress code
Daytime cocktail / dressy casual, summer-inspired.
Basically something you'd wear to a fancy brunch or some elevated fashion forward backyard. We would love to see some color! It's summer, y'all. Bring out your best day fits! Think lighter fabrics suited for sun!
If you're still not sure, here's a Pinterest board for inspiration.
🥰 Avoid wearing red, pls. 🥰
For folks who are not familiar — red is typically a color reserved for the bride in Chinese (and other Asian) traditions.
Do y'all have a registry?
Your presence is really the best gift.
We already have all the physical objects we could ask for in this super consumerist world. If you would like to give a gift, we would appreciate cash gifts (🧧💗) or contribution to our travel funds.
Can I bring a plus one?
We intentionally created space for this intimate celebration and ask that attendance be limited to those addressed formally in the invitation.
Will Chili be there?
For those who know Chili well, you might know that she can be a reactive dog with large groups of people and around food. For everyone's safety (and toes) and for our stress levels, Chili will not be present during the celebrations.
If you stick with us until the very end though, there's a chance she might make an appearance.
No promises though! 🐶
Where should I stay? Do you have a hotel block?
This is completely up to you! Since this is a mostly local NYC event with not many folks traveling in, we didn't think it was necessary to do anything like that. If you need help figuring out an area to stay in or want tips, feel free to reach out to us.
Thank you for
being in our lives!
